Zimbabwe Tuberculosis Diagnoses Shifted to Older Ages Over 25 Years
A pooled analysis of 12 studies involving 15,925 people in Zimbabwe found that the average age at tuberculosis diagnosis rose between 2000 and 2024. The increase was especially pronounced among women, highlighting the need to account for age-related conditions when diagnosing and treating tuberculosis.
