Daily Walking Matched Supervised Aerobic Training in an Asthma Trial
A randomized clinical trial from researchers at the University of São Paulo found that increasing daily steps and attending supervised treadmill sessions produced comparable improvements in asthma control, respiratory symptoms, quality of life, and anxiety and depression symptoms among physically inactive adults with moderate-to-severe asthma. The benefits remained four months after the eight-week interventions ended.
