Sleep Strategies Show No Long-Term Harm in Follow-Up of 328 Babies
Trials and follow-up research involving 328 Australian infants found that structured sleep strategies were associated with fewer reported sleep problems and improved maternal mental health in the short term. By age 5, researchers found no group differences in child stress markers, emotional or behavioral scores, parent-child closeness, harsh parenting or parental mental health.
